Is It Okay to Take a Break From Strength Training? Science Says Yes

New research from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland offers an encouraging answer: short-term breaks in resistance training may slow your progress slightly, but they won’t derail your long-term development in strength or muscle size.   1. I wish the poll answers were shown in a more readable way. Because only about 10 characters are shown, the responses show up something like:
    “Yes, but . . . ” 12%
    “Yes, but . . . ” 8.5%
    “Yes, but . . . ” 4.3%
    So, there’s no way of knowing which answer is being refereed to.
