Socks for Visibility, Comfort, and Support

Distracted drivers are one of my biggest fear when road riding, and I always try to be as visible as possible, both with clothing and lights. Specialized’s HyprViz Soft Air Reflective Tall socks provide visibility in bright sun and low light conditions. The combination of high visibility green and a reflective band up the back of the cuff gives an active, moving element that increases visibility. Millions of glass beads comprise the reflective band to receive and reflect light back to the source.

These socks are made from lightweight, soft yarns with compressive construction to give muscles and tendons extra support. With the moisture-wicking properties, there was no chafing or discomfort on any of my rides. The mesh toe channel allows air to circulate and keep feet comfortable. A PowerBand mid-foot arch supports the foot and keeps the shape and fit.

I’ve worn and washed my test pair over a dozen times, and they are still like new. Do follow the washing instructions by using cold water and only line dry.

Yellow socks do NOT match any of my jerseys, but after clearly seeing another rider’s yellow socks pumping up and down a long way out ahead of me a few years back, I’ve been sold on their value.
