Honey Stinger Cracker Bars Review

By Sheri Rosenbaum

Honey Stinger Cracker Bars

In October of this year, Honey Stinger launched a revamped version of their Cracker Bars designed for post-workout recovery. I had never tried the previous version, but I can tell you this new one is quite tasty. The bar contains creamy nut butter and honey between two crunchy, salted multigrain crackers. Then the whole bar is coated with chocolate.

The new version of the Cracker Bar has twice the amount of filling than the original bar. This is designed to keep you feeling full and satisfied, which it did for me. In addition, the 10 grams of plant-based protein helps to repair and replenish muscles and promote optimal recovery. Both varieties are USDA certified organic and non-GMO, as well as True Source Certified Honey.

You can choose from two bar flavors: Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate or Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate. I’m a dark chocolate kind of gal, but surprisingly I liked the milk chocolate version the best. The bar had a sweet and salty flavor profile which was satisfying after a hard ride.

The Cracker Bar is small enough to fit easily in your jersey pocket but large enough to be very satisfying. For a box of 12 same flavor bars the cost is $29.99 MSRP and the variety pack is $32.99 MSRP. Honey Stinger products are available online or at most local bike shops.
