My New Favorite Summer Shorts

In late July, Ornot launched its new Mission Short, and they quickly became my favorite new summer shorts! From the four-way stretch fabric to the flattering cut through the hips and thighs to the perfect 7.5” inseam, these shorts are comfortable, stylish, and figure-flattering.

The flattering cut through the hips and thighs along with a 7.5” inseam make the Mission shorts perfect for on or off the bike activities.

The Mission shorts feature a high waist and an elastic waistband for a non-restrictive fit. But it isn’t the typical elastic waistband, as it sits flush against your body and doesn’t bunch up. These shorts also have plenty of pockets: two front slant pockets and two rear zippered pockets.

Two rear zippered pockets keep items safe.

Since the black fabric has a matte finish, the Mission shorts are extremely versatile. Wear them for cycling (commuter, MTB), slip them on over bibs after a road ride, run errands, go hiking, or even wear them to a summer BBQ. I’ve been wearing my pair of Mission shorts everywhere. They are incredibly comfortable and always look perfectly pressed. The shorts are truly wash-and-wear. Made from 85% nylon and 15% elastane, they are machine washable and come out wrinkle-free.

Need more reasons to feel good wearing Ornot’s Mission shorts? They are made in the USA and from bluesign-approved recycled materials.

Bottom Line

Ornot has a winner here! I don’t often gush over a piece of clothing, but these Mission shorts fit and look amazing. They’re a bit pricey at $126, but you’ll get so much wear out of them. My only negative: I wish I had more than one pair.  Yes, I truly wear them that often.
