Skratch Labs Introduces Mango + Tangerine Hydration Sport Drink Mix

news

By Lars Hundley

Skratch Labs, the well known performance nutrition brand, has announced the release of a limited-time Mango + Tangerine flavor of their Hydration Sport Drink Mix. This new flavor offers a tropical twist for athletes during their workouts, made with real fruit, sugar, and an optimal electrolyte profile to replace what is lost through sweat.

The Hydration Sport Drink Mix was designed to replace electrolytes and provide a small amount of energy during physical activity, without causing flavor fatigue or gastrointestinal issues. By avoiding artificial sweeteners and colors, Skratch Labs aims to create a drink that is both palatable and beneficial for athletes. The Mango + Tangerine flavor is derived from real mangoes and tangerines, with an electrolyte profile that matches the average person’s sweat loss. The drink mix also contains the right ratio and volume of sugar (glucose and fructose) for faster hydration and electrolyte absorption.

Co-Founder and Sport Physiologist Dr. Allen Lim explained the motivation behind Skratch Labs’ Hydration Sport Drink Mix, stating, “During my time working with Pro Cyclists on tour, I’d too often hear athletes complain that conventional sports drinks were undrinkable. They were too sweet, over-flavored and too colorful. These sports drinks were making them sick to their stomach.”

The limited edition Mango + Tangerine Hydration Sport Drink Mix is now available at retailers and will be sold on Amazon and SkratchLabs.com starting June 1. The mix is offered in a 440g, 20-serving bag and joins Skratch Labs’ existing lineup of Hydration Sport Drink Mix flavors.
