Gorewear created a daily wearable jersey … for the rest of us. This one you will like. Not your typical full-race-trim-ultra-slim-fit that is designed for the racers. The two issues I have had with those jerseys; (a) they are too tight in the wrong places, (b) elastic everywhere, to the point you can’t get it to fit right, always pulling here or there.

With this jersey, there is ample room in the sleeves as well as the torso. The sleeves are sewn at the bottom, sans elastic. The only elastic is in the bottom hem to keep the jersey from riding up.

Depending on the manufacturer, I will take either a L or XL. This size L fit perfectly. Just loose enough, just tight enough making it one of the most comfortable jerseys I have. The three rear pockets are of ample size to easily carry a full sized iPhone 13 and all of your flat fix items. The fourth pocket is zippered for your keys or key fob.

What impressed me was that even at speed, there is no material flapping from being too loose. Nice and comfortable and breathable for the upcoming hot summer days.

Once done with the ride, I have a small mesh laundry bag that I drop the jersey into so that it doesn’t catch, snag or rip on other items being washed. I don’t dry my bicycle clothes in the dryer, but hang them up to dry. By the next morning, they are dry and ready to ride.

How Did It Fit/Feel? Runs True to Size.

Gore states

“We wanted a versatile go-to jersey that looks good on and off the bike. The ergonomic design enhances your comfort and moisture management, while the modern graphic prints help you stand out on the road. You’ll also feel better knowing it’s made from 100% recycled materials.”

Lightweight and breathable, it’s fairly stretchable so it fits well. The sleeves are a little longer, so they don’t tend to bunch up under your arm pits. The inside rear of the jersey is elasticized to prevent riding up. I did not have to pull it back down once. The pockets are ample size and I like the zippered stow pocket for my car keys.

All-in-all, I’m giving this jersey a 5/5-star rating finding nothing of technical concern or issue. And, for an MSRP of $90 you can’t beat the value and quality! Another highly recommended GORE product!
