Versatile Comfort for Road, Trail, and Exploring

Fizik recently introduced the Tempo Beat to their line of cycling shoes, offering a versatile, casual road shoe that is perfect for exploring on or off the bike. With a stiffness index of 4, a wider toe box, and a hidden two-bolt cleat track, the Tempo Beat provides excellent comfort for walking or riding. The inside of the heel features silicon grippers to prevent your foot from slipping while pedaling or walking around town.

The sleek TPU tread offers grip on smooth surfaces but provides little traction on major gravel or climbing.

However, it’s important to note the sleek TPU tread offers grip on smooth surfaces but provides little traction on major gravel or climbing. These shoes are perfect for paved surfaces or crushed limestone trails. The engineered uppers are easy to clean but don’t offer much airflow except through the perforations on the tongue. I found my feet got a bit warm on hot summer days. After one very dusty trail ride, I quickly and easily cleaned the shoes with a damp rag. Good as new!

Bottom Line

The Fizik Tempo Beat cycling shoes are an excellent choice for riders trying clipless pedals for the first time or those who enjoy exploring both on and off the bike. These shoes are priced at $179.99 and are available in three stylish colors (Black, Sage Green/Desert, and White/Orange) and offer style and comfort.
