Ask the Coach: Send Us Your Cycling Question
Have a question about cycling? Send it to us. Our coaches and technical experts answer reader questions every week in the RBR newsletter and here on the site.
Ask about anything cycling related: training and fitness, nutrition, bike fit, maintenance and repairs, gear and components, riding skills, group riding, or staying strong as you age. If you are wondering about it, chances are other readers are too.
We read every question that comes in. When we publish one, we use your first name and last initial only, and we never share your email address.
Looking for an answer right now? We have been publishing cycling advice since 2001, so there is a good chance we have already covered your question. Try the search box to look through the archive.

My beloved Felt F1, painted in Garmin Slipstream colors, has an issue with the front derailleur. It has three rivets that hold it to the carbon frame. At least one is loose and I get a little movement from it. Do i replace the rivet? Use an epoxy to glue it to the frame? Or send it somewhere to get repaired.
thanks
Pete
