Get Your Gear Organized for Race Day or Travel

Whether packing for a race across town or planning a trip across the country, you’re less likely to forget something if you’re organized. The Silca Maratona Minimo gear bag will do just that. With specialized pockets and adjustable dividers, customize the internal storage compartments to meet your needs.

The Maratona Minimo is the smaller version of the Maratona which was designed to fit more gear for longer trip. The Minimo meets airline size regulations for carry-on luggage measuring 46cm x 33cm x 23cm. It boasts 3 external handles plus a removable padded shoulder strap for easy carrying and maneuvering.

Detachable padded shoulder strap

Silca’s attention to details is spot on. The exterior of the case is made from water-resistant synthetic matte black material with subtle gloss black designs/logo along with red accents. There are two exterior zippered waterproof, anti-static, microfiber-lined padded pockets to store items like electronics and two additional exterior zippered pockets for incidentals.

Unzip the bag to reveal a spacious interior. Lined with red fabric, items are easily seen unlike with black lined bags. There are several internal mesh pockets; a large divided zippered pocket and one open pocket. Two interior elastic straps secure water bottles or other items. The padded dividers attach with Velcro and are customizable to suit your needs.

The case also comes with two red nylon roll-top bags. One is for cycling shoes and the other has mesh on one side for storing items like cycling gear that you already wore.

Customizable interior and ample storage inside and out

The high-quality workmanship and details of the Maratona Minimo is typical Silca, but so is the price tag. At $175 MSRP, the cost ranks up there with a quality piece of luggage.

Bottom Line

If you are looking for a versatile, quality gear bag for race day or carry-on the Maratona Minimo is a great choice. Plenty of storage inside and out, along with customizable padded compartments to make it your own. You’re sure to be organized and worry free, since it’s difficult to leave any critical gear behind when you are organized.
