Question of the Week

Today’s QoW is linked to John Yoder‘s column today about serving as a cycling mentor to a novice rider.

(We really need to replenish our stock of Questions! Please submit you own QoW ideas using the Question of the Week Ideas link.)

Yes. About 15 years ago a friend asked me to take her son on some rides as he was getting an interest in cycling. We had several rides together and I would wait patiently for him at the top of each hill. But he was keen and attentive and improved each time.

10 years later he won the Hawaii Ironman triathlon. I think I should quit mentoring while I’m ahead. 🙂
