Expert road cycling advice, since 2001
Last Summer I was coming around a blind corner down a hill and a car had accidentally moved into my lane. I did not notice until it was too late. Once I spoke to the driver, she left. The police never found her. After surgery and rehab, I still limp, it hurts to ride, and my balance is way off, but I get out there a couple times a week. I take some extra recovery days, but riding is too much fun not to. Oh, and the first place I rode when I got the okay from my surgeon and physical therapist was down that hill. It was scary, and I may have held back a little on speed, but I had to do it right away. I had been thinking about it for several months.
