Question of the Week

Today’s QoW comes from yours truly. It’s based on the way I keep my “cycling closet” supplied with a few staples that I need on a regular basis. See today’s Quick Tips piece “Keep Extra Cycling Provisions on Hand.” —John Marsh

Establishing and keeping a supply of “consumables” has saved me trouble and stress on more than one occasion. Being able to take advantage of sale prices has also reduced the cost of cycling. One downside to this practice is that sometimes a newer, updated version of a product will come to market, and I have to resist the temptation to use the newer versionuntil I have used my current supply.

A couple of extra tires, several tubes and shifter cables seems to take care of almost all my emergencies.
