I don’t like riding in the rain & will avoid it if I can. I don’t own any rain gear, so I just get wet. I get wet everyday when I shower & it doesn’t seem to have hurt me yet.
Emergency “rain gear” of a large, clear, plastic garbage bag & a hotel shower cap in my bag… minimal weight and space taken up, but could mean the difference between getting home alive or crashing due to hypothermia when a sudden cold front with rain comes thru.
