What's the scoop on using talcum powder when installing a new tube? Is it necessary? 

For riding a cross-country ride what wheels should I use, aero style or traditional 32 spokes?

I've heard that when riding in wet conditions, treadless tires are best. This is completely opposite of car tires. Why?
