Dr. Mirkin. My urologist is recommending the urolift procedure for my BPH. I am a cyclist who rides 150 to 200 miles per week. My urologist says that my cycling will be fine after the surgery. I am concerned that all the pressure from the saddle might not be good after this procedure, due to the implants there. What do you think? Do you know cyclists who have had this? Any comments about this procedure in general? Thanks.

Selle SMP (and others, too) make bike saddles that are specifically designed to relieve pressure on the perineum / prostate area.. I have just had Urolift, and have just installed one of these saddles on my bike (it took 5 minutes).
